Bring individual insight together

Comparison & group reports

Use existing assessment insight to support better conversations between colleagues, managers and teams.

Colleagues comparing their notes

Understand the relationship, not just the individual

An individual profile starts with one person. A Comparison Report brings two people’s results into the same conversation, highlighting similarities and differences that may influence how they work together. Group and facilitator reports can support a broader view of a team.

Where supporting reports can help

  • A manager and direct report discussing how to communicate.
  • Two colleagues preparing to work together on a project.
  • An intact team exploring shared tendencies and differences.
  • A facilitator preparing questions for a group session.

Make the report the start of a conversation

Ask each person what feels accurate, what needs context and what they would like their colleague to understand. A difference on a report is not automatically a problem. It becomes useful when people connect it to a real task or interaction.

For a team discussion, avoid turning the group’s profile into a stereotype. Explore which preferences are visible, whose perspective may be overlooked and what the work requires. Agree on a practical adjustment, such as how to prepare for a decision or how to signal when more detail is needed.

Confirm eligibility and sharing

Spectrum checks the existing assessments, report compatibility and intended use before recommending supporting reports. Participants should understand how their information will be shared. Facilitator-level information is not automatically appropriate for broad distribution.

Frequently asked questions

Are comparison reports a new assessment?

They use existing eligible Everything DiSC results to support a conversation between people. They are not a new standalone assessment.

Can reports combine any assessment?

Eligibility depends on the profiles and reporting tools involved. Spectrum will check the specific assessments before confirming the available reports.

Can a team report tell us who should be promoted?

No. Group insight supports development and working relationships. It should not be used as a ranking of people or a substitute for evidence about performance.
