How to choose an Everything DiSC assessment

Start with the work you want to improve, then choose the assessment that supports it.

Professional considering learning options

Begin with a situation, not a product name

Before comparing assessments, write down a few situations you want people to handle more effectively. Is the team misunderstanding one another? Are managers struggling to delegate? Are leaders clear about strategy but inconsistent about execution? A concrete situation makes it easier to choose the right learning focus.

Match the focus to the audience

Workplace offers a broad foundation for collaboration. Management is a more targeted option for people leaders. Agile EQ explores flexibility in interpersonal responses, while Productive Conflict focuses on reactions during disagreement. Work of Leaders connects behaviour with vision, alignment and execution. Sales applies behavioural insight to customer conversations.

Decide what happens after the assessment

Consider how participants will interpret their profiles and use the insight. A facilitated session, a structured debrief or a longer programme can provide opportunities to reflect and practise. Catalyst can support continued application for the products available on that platform.

Check what your people already have

An existing profile may change the best next step. Collect the product name and platform information rather than assuming all DISC tests are interchangeable. Spectrum can check the current position and help you avoid unnecessary duplication.

Define a useful result

A useful objective describes something people will do: check understanding before delegating, prepare for a difficult conversation or agree on a team communication habit. Select the assessment and session design to support that change.
